About The Artist

I create art from what’s been left behind.

My work begins with discarded spirit and wine bottles—glass that has already lived a life, shared a moment, and too often is destined for a landfill. Living and working in Puerto Rico, I see firsthand how much glass is thrown away every day, and I felt compelled to respond in the way I know best: by making something meaningful, beautiful, and lasting from it.

Each piece I create—whether a glass wall hanging, or a piece of jewelry, shaped by hand and guided by process. Some glass is left in its original color, honoring where it came from. Other pieces are hand-dyed by me, layered slowly to achieve depth, nuance, and movement. I’m drawn to how glass interacts with light—how it shifts, softens, and comes alive depending on the time of day and where it’s placed.

Why Reclaimed Glass…

Puerto Rico faces a growing glass waste problem. With only a small percentage of glass recycled on the island, hundreds of tons are discarded daily and sent to landfills. Spirit and wine bottles make up a large part of this waste stream. By reclaiming and reworking these bottles, I aim to slow the cycle—turning what’s thrown away into something lasting and meaningful.
